Default Official Bug & Error Report thread *

Seeing as how there are still a decent amount of bugs popping up it would be easier to keep them all located in one thread instead of random post in random threads.

Some bugs I know of, which may not yet be fixed.
Internet Explorer 8.0

1: The total viewers of threads and members viewing a thread is incorrect. It seems that the view count and people viewing continually adds to the count, instead of showing how many people and who is viewing a thread Live at that exact moment.

2: Polls for threads are working, but the Close/End date doesn't seem to match the date added: For example, 21 days was added to a poll and the close date was in the year 2035.

List any errors, bugs or problems you notice here. List where the problem is, what browser you're using etc.

If you go in to your Gallery > Sort My Images > Another Sorting Mode the link is broken and goes to http://cghub.comarray/

Using Opera, the links up top - from Forums over to "More" all kinda get jumbled together around the same area Forums should be. You can still usually navigate because they spread out a bit when you move your mouse over them, but it's definitely a bug of some sort.

I'll grab a screenshot when I'm home and edit it into this for you.

Edit: Here you go, hope this helps.

TwoListen - All the more reason people using different browsers need to report bugs/errors

    CODE TAG error
I just went to use the CODE tags to insert a code for using img and instead of showing just the html code, it seems the img tag inside the code tag overrides the code tag. So it basically just shows the image pop up inside the code box.

Just noted that while under "Site Preferences" I have all of my instant email notifications set to "yes" but have not ever received an email notification for anything other than a thread that I have manually subscribed to.

    Best,
    ~Shane

It also appears that bulleted lists in posts do not function (at least, it didn't when I was setting up Story Tellers last night).

The following should be shown as a bullted list:
    • testing one
    • testing two
    • testing three

    Thanks,
    ~S

On this page is a slideshow:
      http://cghub.com/images

If you let it transition to the next slide, the link on the lower left, where it says [art title] by [username], [username] link goes to the wrong place. The first slide is always correct but after a transition happens the link becomes garbled.

it seems that if I'm making a post, and then use the preview post button (If I want to check my image layout or something like that) then when the images are shown in the preview, it moves the message edit box to the right and off of the forum. Thus making it almost impossible to keep editing the post if need be. check the image attached to know what I mean.

edit: this seems to only happen if I want to edit a post. when making the initial post, this issue doesn't occur.

I know you're going to hate me for bringing this up again admin but i still dont recieve any emails from thread subscriptions.

I get notifications from comments on my profile and images, and when people post images but nothing from the threads.

Its kinda stopping me from being more active in this site and the forums... (please dont take this as an angry post, i love you guys and the effort you put in)

Thanks for your patience (and honesty) Shinypants!

This has been a problem for a while now and we finally figured out what was going on. When you would update your email address in your profile, vbulletin would not update the email, and any subscriptions would go to your old email address.

We are hoping this will resolve all forum email notification problems users have been having.

Shinypants, in your case does this sound like what happened to you? Thank you for your help!

Mine is having a similar problem too. Since I joined CGHub, my e-mail notifications are set to "Daily". I always received them, sometimes with a lack of a day, no more than this. But there's about 8 or 9 days I don't receive any e-mail notifications. And it's not because there's no activity to be notified: In this half-time, I received one network request, one comment in my profile, some comments in my works and some replies in other people's profile, not to mention that the artists I follow added images to their galleries. Every morning when I wake up I go check my e-mail to see if this torture ends. Oh, CGHub... why did you forget me?!? I love you so much!

Anyways, I really hope someone solves this bug, because the e-mail notifications really make life easier here!
