Hi everyone! I'm new here and I thought it would be cool to have my first post to be my sketchbook thread.
I'm not quite in the league of the rest of the artists here I think but I guess that's why I start this thread; hopefully to get some tips and improve!

This stuff is old, go to the last page for my most recent stuff (duh)

My name is Alexander, I'm 21 years old and live in Sweden. I finished school this summer where I studied 3D modeling, aimed toward the game industry. I enjoy 3D a lot but it's been a life long dream of mine to be able to make a living on 2D art. Hopefully I can attend some art school sometime in the near future.

Some of these images are old and some are newer, I hope you like 'em.

Heres some I did today, I need to do more faces because these didn't turn out very well.

BTW, how do I make my attachments big and not thumbnails?

Oh dude, you are going fast! Nice job!

One thing I noticed

When you do a portrait from up front, you fall back to drawing and painting symbols. Keep just as focussed as you do with your other portraits and paintings and it should go away

I have the same problem, its just the left brain forcing its self in, and wanting to simplify the shapes to symbols.
