Hey SARDEANIE,
Great stuff so far, I'm a big fan of dynamesh too. Just wanted to offer my two cents as far as making the retopology process quicker for yourself. Apologies if you already know this. Firstly duplicate your subtool and turn off visibility on the original. Lower the resolution and then re dynamesh the tool with 0 blur and project on. With this your aiming for a Dynamesh close to 50k Poly as possible. Then use the Qremesher with target poly set to 50 (50k). Make sure you have symmetry on so it creates a nice mesh. Once this is done you'll notice you will have lost some detail but its ok. Divide this mesh so it's the same or as close to your original tool poly count as possible. Ok now with your new tool selected turn the visibility back on the original tool. Go to the PROJECT tab, turn down blur to 0 (or higher depending on your needs and result) and click Project All. Your new retopologized tool will now have all your details projected onto it from the original tool. I do this myself when I'm wanting to quickly retopologize something and a super organized clean mesh isn't really necessary. Again if you know this, sorry to bore you otherwise I hope it helps. Also I'm not just creeping, I'm getting involved in this challenge I've been delayed starting though. Hopefully I can get something done in time. Cheers and keep up the awesome stuff guys AJ |

Thanks AJL! That is pretty much step by step what I did ( I had help). It sure looks clearer written down the way you have it though. Believe me, I am printing this page for future reference! Thanks for taking the time. Clear advice is always accepted!

Hey, no problem. Glad I could help
![]() JHON: Qremesher will retopologize to a maximum of 50k. So the result you are getting is normal. The SAME,HALF and DOUBLE tabs are only really beneficial with a mesh that is below 50k to begin with. To get a higher mesh once you have used Qremesher just divide as you would normally. Hope this helps. AJ |

I personally love sculpting in Dynamesh and feel most comfortable there.
