Just want to introduce a new class coming this Summer semester, "Intro to Vehicle Design" with Vaughan Ling~!!

This class will focus on the sketching and design method/techniques of a vehicle designer. Great class for both character or environment artists, who wish to expend their skill set.

Hi Everyone,

"Laguna College of Art + Design" have invited CDA to do a 2 day group workshop on Sept 22 & 23 at their main campus.

If you haven't gone to our past LCAD events, it is basically a tasting menu of the best CDA have to offer in 2 in
tense days of sharing and learning.

There will be 5 demos in total ranging from costume, creature, kit bash, tech, and environment painting.

It is a great event for beginning students to use the opportunity to understand more about the industry and how better prepare yourself for the job positions you want to apply. Questions are encouraged and the workshop is a great way to meet and ask questions during the event.

For seasoned professionals, it is a great opportunity to meet other artists and learn new work flow, design and production ideas.

We have just opened a second portfolio submission deadline for Mike Yamada & Victoria Ying's "Visual Development for Animation" class at CDA.

The new deadline is on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013.

Both Mike and Vicky will be taking a teaching break in the Summer so contact us soon if you would be interest to take the class this Spring term.

Mike is currently working as a Visual Development Artist at Dreamworks Animation.

He currently co-teaches the "Visual Development for Animation" class with his wife, Victoria Ying at CDA.
