I am looking for an online and accredited art university, something similar to TAD but maybe a little cheaper. I have a full time job so this is why I need it to be online and that it accepts students from all over the world.

I know that the Academy of Arts has a online program as well but I believe it's about the same price as TAD's which is around $45,000-$50,000.

Thanks CGMW, I knew about your courses, they are awesome, the environment design program looks fantastic but I need the accreditation not just the certificate :<
Also, I can't find any prices there, how much is the winter term for example? Anyway the courses available now are all filled to capacity.

Thank you. Sorry our classes tend to fill up pretty quickly. We strive to ensure that the quality of our classes and instructors are at the same level as an accredited university but with the huge difference being the price. We are going to be adjusting the prices for the Summer Term. So the prices for our tracks are;

$7,899 for the Foundation Track http://www.cgma2dacademy.com/2d-foundation-track.html

and

$8,099 for the Environment Design Track http://www.cgma2dacademy.com/environ...ign-track.html

The cost per class starting in Summer will be $699 for a 8week class +1week review. This will include;
1. Weekly Lectures,
2. Weekly Live QandA with instructor,
3. Individual feedback,
4. Student forum,
and everything will be recorded for later viewing at your convenience.

We do plan on offering accreditation in the future but our concern is that it will drastically affect the cost of tuition and we want to be able to provide students a great product at a great price. One of the reasons we started this school was to provide affordable, accessible, quality education to everyone ,anywhere. But I understand your situation and I wish you the best with your search. Can you talk more about the summer pricing? Right now I see that the Foundation/Design Program encompasses 12 classes. You post that the foundation class will end up costing $7899. However, current pricing for the classes that comprise that program only totals $7188 (assuming the current $599 per class cost). Is your $7899 total based on the new $699 /class quote? If so, is there any way to secure classes at the current lower $599 price or are we out of luck at this point?

Also, does enrollment into any of the CGMA classes/programs entitle students to discounts on Adobe, Autodesk, etc products (i.e. student or promotional discounts)?
