Hi tr79,
I am in a bit of a hurry, but I would suggest you to take a look at the Tutorials Galore sticky over on the the Education part of this forum. Here is a direct link to it; http://cghub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3199 While buying books from amazon can be a great idea, the cost can quickly go up, especially if you buy the wrong books. (I do not have the knowledge to say which is which, you will have to do some research on it). There is quite a lot of comprehensive guides and tutorials on pretty much any topic in the above link, some definitely better than others, but it may give you a better idea on which aspects you want to focus on in the beginning. And from there you can always find the books you need to further develop your skills ![]() Hope it can be of some help. |
