      Hey,

      iīm new to cghub and this is now my first post to a challenge/forum

      uf, itīs really hard to draw something looking like "concrete"..
      also didnīt go out to practice till now, but i will.

      here is my sketch and my reference pic (iīve used two, but i donīt find the second one anymore. iīll upload it with the next post.)

      Sushy - Yea I figured as much . The place seems to be functional again but Cghub is a lot of fun as well.
      I think you did some good work on the face, softening the features. Getting the value range right is a challenge, looking forward to the final piece.
      Aims - Thanks for the critique! I used quite a bit, especially the zoom and the perpective. I had to check my original sketch again to realize how much of the composition and tension I had lost. Critique is invaluable.. Still not quite there yet but it's getting better.
      I see what you're getting at with the tiger now. You could try lifting the lantern just slightly above the pedestal, to sell the idea of the tiger carrying it.

      Here's another WIP. Will probably finish up tomorrow.

      Allright, image is finished.

      I added a compilation with some reference used. I also checked on some random glacier reference. Lastly, I got a lot of inspiration from this download and some artwork by Mike Bierek featuring snow landscapes.

      Looking forward to the other entries!
