Hi guys,

there's going to be a several-day extension on this particular challenge because I forgot to advertise on the CGHub main page.

Have fun!

Is it OK to base a 2D traditional drawing on a digital 3D reference I prepared? I won't trace it.

arttorney, I don't know much about the rules but I think it shouldn't be a problem since you're using it as reference

        my first sketch,
        no reference

it looks more like a summoner rather than an oracle actually

              Default The Red Pill

Wow. I've been wanting my work to be more surreal for a while but never really took a chance. UNTIL NOW. Got inspiration from the some NASA imagery and cranked up some classical music. Whether I finish this or not, score one for my comfort zone. The particular shot that did it for me is called the Witch Head Nebula.

Ended up looking a lot like those medieval book deco things, which was an unintended bonus.

Like the prompt, some thumbnails. Feeling more of a creepy dark oracle.

If anyone has any thoughts, feel free to comment.

                  Default Initial sketch

I'm not sure if I will be able to finish this in time, but this challenge sounded too fun not to at least get some sketches in!

my work so far, its a porcelain seal, if you touch it, you can be invincible, but unable to hurt others physically.

Step one: Screen an image flipped over itself
Step two: Proceed to trip balls.

I actually liked where I was going, but messed around with some double exposures and got some TRIPPY results. I highly recommend trying it out, I'm probably going to start over from some of these blot test guys.
