Hi guys! Sorry for being inactive lately, work has been a bit overwhelming lately.

Here's something I started tonight. My brother is a die hard assassins creed fan and I've been meaning to do a painting for his new apartment for a while now and figured that AC3 would be a fitting subject.

Keep in mind, this is a wip and updates will follow

I also need to finish all the other stuff I have laying around unfinished

good work man! like the character work.

though, there's something about the last post that's tickling me. i don't know what it is. hmm, the composition could be it. the the right there's nothing to look at. my eyes are drawn across the horizon from the soldiers to the assassin, but they stop at a dead end. no treasure chest at the end of the road, if you get what i'm saying. hope you do!

Cool stuff Jokenin! I like how you explore a vast amount of lighting setups and compositions. Good stuff, and you are making sure to pay attention to materials to get that nice separation of things.

I agree with mattgamer on the latest AC3 piece. I think it is due to the main figures being even spaced out from each other and the left edge of the composition. The execution is great though, you really get that soft snow feel on the bushes and ground. Keep going man!

Phew!

I'm still not dead. I've just been incredibly busy for the past 4 months. I've changed workplace ( I moved to work for RedLynx which is a Ubisoft studio, and I'm really happy that I did ), we got a dog with my girlfriend and I've been swamped doing freelance work for book covers. So you know how it is

Incredibly this sunday I had nothing that I had to do so I got to continue on my ship painting! Made some nice progress as well. Hope you guys enjoy!
