                  Your studies are coming along great! It's evident you're keeping in mind a lot of important things about color and anatomy. The drawings themselves need to have crisper lines and planes, but that comes with practice - and the later ones are miles ahead of the first ones in that department
                  You've also improved your blending (judging from the last picture), but there are several areas i feel are 'over'blended - you should always combine blended areas with sharp edges/transitions and corners, especially when it comes to portraits - it gves a lot of character. For example, in the last picture you've done a great job around the eyes and nose(which is one of the most important things in a portrait - it is why the whole image looks great), but the forehead and cheeks look a bit muddy-ish - they need some sharper contrasting lines/planes.

                    I'll be starting this portrait most probably this weekend or by next week. Oil on canvas, I'll post the updates when i start it.
