    Default Illustration for Print

I have some questions for those of you who are professional illustrators.

I'm in school for graphic design right now, I'm more of a hobby illustrator, I love it a lot but I don't think I'm good enough to be a professional illustrator, at least not yet.

Today in class we talked about the differences between CMYK and Pantone coloring for print. I do understand how they effect graphic designers. I'm curious as to how these colour options effect illustrators.

Do illustrators (Doing awesome work like that on the bar at the top of the pate) work in one set or the other? Since you can't mix colours from both and they can't truly be converted back and forth.

Or do you just colour it as you see fit with whatever palette you create in photoshop and not worry too much about how exact the colours are?
