Hi all i'm new and this is my first time to post artwork here in CgHub. I haven't been active for a long time in art sites and i'm trying to get the spirit back. I got inspired by wonderful works of artists in this forum.

I wanted to do an artwork of Thor in the movie. I will make it my first WIP. I would like to take constructive criticism for improvements later on when I get back to continue it.
I will appreciate comments from you guys thanks

Update: completed lineart and started grayscale in details. Will continue again soon

As I continue along my daily practice on Thor. I continue with my grayscales. One of my friend in the office gave me a very good critque on his left arm which i find helpful with this artwork. I might also change his cape in later days, i'm still juggling my mind about it :|

I finished my grayscale's on Thor and starting to concept background..not sure what I want yet but it has to be a concept. Either I make concept in this background or start coloring Thor or both...

I'm back with my unfinished Thor with a new update and started to make the concept background of Asgard which i intended to recreate from the movie in a different way.

Still need improvements at front.. will continue another time

it looks very awesome .great start .and i think the cghub is a very helpful site ,you can learn a lot of new knowledge .keep on doing ...

At last we have holiday I want to finish this piece to move on and make more faster concepts. Almost done but need a little more tweaks around in depth of field, lighting, etc. Will make the final piece at the gallery. Thanks all

Here is my polish render on Thor. I changed the clouds in the sky where it is forming like a vortex-like wind. I added some depth of field to have an air feeling to the castle background. I'll look on this for a while if there is still something tweak and figure out how make the gallery.

I post the latest update in the gallery now, I think i'm done for now. I made the background stage longer then I added more mountains at the back, plants and a few touches.

I want to move on to another piece but work kept me busy. Maybe laters....
