Do not recycle your old models and enter it in the challenge, your entry must be created during the challenge, anyone caught will be disqualified immediately

      Nice speed sculpt.

If you are designing your own concept, it must be based on some scientific or evolutionary theories or you can simply replicate an established design from references.

There is no preference, the goal would be to create a believable prehistoric creature that is textured and well presented.

Thanks for the clarification John. are you partaking in this aswell or just moderating this time? I wonder if I'm going to be the only one posting anything lol
the dino i chose has no reference as so little was found. i did find a rendering of the head done by another artist but its just his interpretation. I can follow that and go from there but im not sure how accurate the artist was. should I look to its cousins for ref?

Hello all. Here goes my fist work in progress. I just realized how hard it is to invent muscles Yes these are a few different animals as ref, but im going for the top right orange and black marsupial. The rest are really just to help give stylistic ideas.

You can mix and match different elements from different species if an exact scientific interpretation can't be sourced, thats no probs.

@Snno1 - thats a great start, look forward to your next update.
