    Default Beastman WIP

Hey everyone, finished this in graphite and just wanted some C&C regarding its composition, proportion and detail.

I'm thinking to change its orientation to landscape, as I want to give more room to explore a snowy mountain scene behind him, with blizzard effects and heavy condensation coming from his mouth. I have yet to decide what color scheme to use, but if anyone has suggestions feel free to let me know.

    Thanks all!

really nice pencil work! i especially love the belt buckle design and how you got the arrow design to curve really well.

I was just thinking you may want to consider angling his shield arm a little outwards? Because it looks like his left arm is being crushed against his side If he is shouting, wouldnt his arm be a little more open to allow for the expansion of his chest? If the shield is angled a bit more away from the camera you may get a more dramatic effect to i think.

Really looking forward to seeing this guy put into an environment and seeing how you take this!

Thanks a lot! I never looked at the arm in that way but I see exactly what you mean. I'll try setting is arm a bit farther out and experiment with it at different angles away from his body.

But thanks again for the advice, hopefully I'll throw a mock up of changes up here soon and block out that background.

Post progress soon! I would love to see more. Details are great. Depending on how strong that wind is, I would consider if the dripping blood would also blow in the direction of everything else that's flowing. Great work!
