Yes Wacom Bamboo do have the pressure sensitivity.
Install the latest drivers for the Wacom Bamboo and get the latest Video drivers and Mother Board drivers.
I presume that you are using Windows because these are the problems mostly encountered by Window's user.
Also please provide more info if the problem stays (Bamboo Model number, OS, Drivers details etc)

And for the last resort if you still have any issues then go through the following discussion in the link...

      Default Tablet

Do you get the exclamation sign next to the pen pressure tab? IF you do, you need to install the driver for your tablet. You can download it from the wacom site itself or use the disc you got with the tablet.

        Default Drivers!

I have an Intuos4 large and had the same problem. When I switched from CS5 to CS6 I had to update all my wacom drivers. There are a slew of them too. I think 4 or 5 of them that I updated.

Recently I had the same problem with Windows 7, Wacom Intuos5. I read a lot of how to solve it, a lot of which says that the older versions may work instead of the new, so you could try that, it seems to have worked for a lot of people.

What worked for me was removing all user preferences, and re-installing the driver (if I remembered right, i think it was the newest one that works, but remember, apparently this is not always the case)
