Hiya guys. I got a little bit of time in on my wip tonight. I figured out a way to make my starfield stay the way it needs to be when I save as jpeg...only problem is I have to lose my adjustment layers to do it as far as I know =( . Lots of fun learning a program while also trying to enter something into a contest lol. Everything has a ways to go. I hope I get some decent time to learn/play around this comming weekend before the deadline. I have a nice idea for how to do the tree, also split the tree from the planets layer so I can hopefully work on the spirit tree idea a little easier maybe.

I'm loving some of the other wips in here. I cant wait to see how some of these turn out by the end. Looks like your making some great overal progress on yours AlphaCal, pretty cool idea. I really want to see Kayla's finished piece...the first sketch reminds me of something I would see on a MTG card, which I used to love playing. There are so many interesting things going on in here guys, keep it up

I'd post about everything but I would likely be up too darn late lol. Night guys.

Back again. Just in case, let me know if we shouldnt post updates of our pics so much. I know I've been trying to post each time I had a chance to update...no matter how small. Anyways, I got a little bit of time to work on the pic tonight. I started to work on the tree itself just a little, repositioned/added a sun or two to make things a little more interesting. I think I will draw 1 or two more visable planets near to the main planet like I started to do already. Otherwise I plan to try and improve the main planet and start trying to detail the tree.

I love the finish Jerrett, very nice pic. What program did you use for this? I think Jumei's will look really nice by the end also. Your pic looks really cool Leho, for some reason I get the vibe that death is almost attacking the tree though? I'm not sure why, it's just how I feel when I look at it. Either way...I'd love to be able to do anything close to what you guys are doing lol. I'm sure Ill get there eventually...I plan to try and keep doing these Jams as motivation to keep working on my tablet/photoshop.
Anyways, I had better say good night before my wall of text out grows the majority of the trees we've been working on
