Awesome work everyone! I wish I could have joined in on the fun this round! Here are a few thoughts on the submissions:

@tyno - Love the style! Really awesome use of color and I love the crystal growths on the body of the creature!

@juannovelletto - Beautiful work! The color in this is great too! I like your design as well - the modified mouth-parts are a nice touch.

@GDG - Nice! I like that you shower your critter tunneling. It's a nice mutation on an existing organism. I might have liked to see more of the backside

@alben_tan - This is epic! It doesn't scream tunneler to me right away but it's an interesting take. Nice job on the scene.

@amadarien - Awesome work! I love the sharp plates along the back of the critter and the claws on the front legs are great for digging!

@andrebech - Very nice! I really like your reference to moles in the front paws. It's really has the look of a tunneler! I suppose I wish I could see more of the backside.

@Unseenhand - Nice work! The facial markings on this are really great! I might have liked to see more emphasis on the tunneling aspect in your design.

@spasm - Great work! The scene has some really great atmosphere and the creature has an interesting design as well!

Overall I think you all did an awesome job! I hope I can be a little more involved in the coming challenges because I'm always inspired by the work that comes out of these and seeing everyone work together. Awesome job!

Missed the thread. Is it too much to ask that you create these a day or two early? I've been looking to upload the final since earlier this week and checking everyday. One day (Friday) I don't check and it's closed on the same day, kinda disappointed. I know you list the dates for everything, but it's a lot to keep track of with everything else going on in life. I don't see the harm in letting people submit a little early. The new worlds final thread has been up since the 15th for example, and that challenge has a similar deadline I believe.

I don't mean to sound too serious, as I did this for practice and fun first and foremost. So as Scorge put it, "here it is for shits and giggles"

I usually do post the finals thread a few days before hand, but like u said, life gets in the way
i did keep it open the next day extra late, sorry it turned out like this as you and scorge put out really good work :S
