I also have 2 different reference boards the first is of the Galapagos Tortoise and the Aldabra Giant Tortoise. They are the 1st and 2nd largest of land tortoise species. Name: reference01.jpg

They are the closest living relatives to the extinct M. Platyceps. It is known as the horned tortoise or the Koopa. I will be using the Galapagos and the Aldabra to recreate the M Platyceps. Name: reference02.jpg

Speed sculpt of Chameleon tonight, very rough textures just splat on there for a quick effect. Real chameleon scales are really interestingly shaped and distributed, detail study hopefully soon.

Hello guys! This is my first CGHub competition that I've actually caught in time to participate in, I'm pretty stoked!

I've chosen the Andros Rock Iguana for this one. I've been beat to the Green Iguana already. XP

First WIP of the andro rock iguana. Working on getting those proportions laid out right as well as nailing the anatomy, lizards seem to be a bit odd under all those scales.

Can't wait to see some more sculpts on top of the ones up already.

This is the orthographic reconstruction of Icarosaurus that I will be using as the basis for my sculpture. It took a while to gather all of the references I needed, some of the details still don't feel quit right mostly the skin and scale patterns, but as far as starting my sculpture is concerned I think this will do. I was referencing the draco lizard as I showed in my ref sheet as well as the tuatara and common green iguana to reconstruct this guy.
