@Kayla: Nice rendering! I like your rhino's face a lot. I think you should vary the size of the animals. There's no reason they should all neatly fit on the page. You could have your human be super big, like he's a god. Or have the animals big and fierce to show that the human has a lot of power, despite his size. Good work!

@Hermann: I love this concept!! I'd love to see the mouse on an interesting surface, such as plants, leaves, or rocks. Also, maybe it's yelling or trying to appear scarier? I would change the elephant from walking away to facing the same direction as all the others. Is there a reason it's turned around? Nice job.

@DockRock: Great barbarian! I look forward to seeing how you design the beasts. Some dramatic lighting might make them look really menacing.

@NorthWing: I'd love to see the whale breeching those waves! It be cool to have a ton of animals roaring back as it comes out of the water. Nice work!

After thinking about all the strong and dangerous beasts in the world, I realized that the most dangerous beast can be the last jerk - with a gun!

So... this is my 1st ever jam ...
When I heard 'King of Beasts' I thought Lions, Tigers, Elephants etc.... but then I all I could see was a pug on a chair in a crown...

So... here is a little chap who certainly thinks he is king of beasts!

Hi all. Some very good starts going on.

I can't remember the last time I painted some lions, so I figured this challenge would be great practice to do just that. The only questions was, what trumps the lion? Somehow I determined it was a bigger lion. Looking forward to your entries.

Hey all! Some lovely things going on here. Just signed up, though I've been sketching on the concept a bit already. I'll have something up when I have something I like.

@Catherine_OC: The style looks alright to me! If I was going to add anything, I'd say maybe he could use a little more personality? Personal effects, I guess? He's looking a little 'Joe Everypug' so far. Maybe some interesting markings, emphasize the pug's inherent Derp Factor and contrast it with a badass scar or something.

@siegfrie: I dig your start! Looks like it's gonna ride the line between unsettling and regal, in a good way.

@Hermann: I think I dig your first concept a bit more, but going good so far!
