Hey guys!

So.. Have been messing around with some designs. At first I considered a large bug but decided to opt to something that was more like a glider in it's first form (flying on flaps of skin on air currents) to a metalic creature that has thrusters where some of the flaps used to be, and using it's tail. These are some quick roughs to try to figure out the look I want.

@Chris Cross - I really like the deisgns and the color work a lot. You have a really great creature going. The only thing about the design that doesn't resonate with me is the wings. I'm not sure what it is exactly. I think the position and the wings. Very wonderful piece.

@htkpeh - Awesome energy in your work! I really like the last one. I don't know how much further you plan to take it, but I definitely look forward to seeing anything else you come up with.

@Anneyfong - Of all your sketches I like the top right the most!

@Mellon - Not much to say at the moment. It's a really strong design. Kinda creepy!

@eternalfiresong - I think I like the jellyfish one the most.

@Celiahogan - Does.. it have a mustache? GOd I hope so. 10 points to mustache. Looks good!

@radeaton - I think I enjoy the bottom left the most! Very nice silhouette.

@whiteraven - I suggest adding some of the background color onto your creature. Either lightly glazed in some parts, or at least the shadow. Cool design!

Hello guys,

I'll give my first try in the creature forge ! All the concept are looking good but i prefer the creepy insects of Chris-chros and Mellon. I am also found of White raven's flying fish

I'll try to go on some deer infected by the famous T.O virus. My picture is taken during the virus aggression when it is violently taking control of the cells to expand its territory.

Here is the sketch.

And now a color test...

I'd like to create a smoother atmosphere like "no one can hear you scream in the woods" where the deer transforms and lose its natural beeing...

mellon - sorry, but to me your creature comes off as a sea serpent... the design doesn't show that it is capable of flight with the small fins ...

if this is a planet with very low gravity where creatures dont need much effort to fly, id suggest adding some gas fx, and maybe a few floating rocks in the background, just my 2 cents

I haven't understood it like that, i was thinking that the creature could just fly with the virus whatever was it's body before infection (i mean that we just have to show a picture of something able to fly) And the simple "deer" become a new species capable of flying.

I would like some help if i am on the wrong way so i'll change the design into a more specific creature.

yup... looks good... maybe expanding the image on the left side a bit wouldnt hurt

1) the creature does not come from earth, it is from an alien planet.

2) the creature was capable of flight BEFORE the virus infection as well
