Shiny Pants - Thanks. It seems like so long ago when I did that AP workshop. Glad you dig the sketches
This was done a while back for Kingsisle Entertainment Just a page of sketches for some Asian inspired fountains and stone deities and such, nothing referenced. A workshop character done for IFX magazine Some sketches and the final sketch for the Character A side view I had done when figuring out the design and what I wanted to do for the final. Sketches for some hell beast creatures The finals concept for one of the sketches known as The Grimshaw. A bunch of fun little bot line sketches Another stone fountain sketch page A fictional bird concept for a long forgotten personal project

This was one of my first full rendered illustrations. I did it a while back for the first Thunderdome on Ca.org - round 1 topic: Demon Prince
Some thumbnails done as a part of a workshop for IFX Magazine More thumbnails done as a part of the same workshop for IFX Magazine The finale image for that IFX Workshop - A giant Alien Animal: Streamline Gravity Glider A random rhino inspired creature I drew after playing Prince of Persia - two thrones Final sci-fi spaceship illustration for an Advanced Photoshop Magazine workshop - originally the layout was done with the intention of being used for the Cover, so that's why there is a decent amount of empty "space" in regions, for the title and cover text - it wasn't used for the cover though. Feathered Insect thumbnail sketches A tribute to IFX magazine for their 1 year anniversary I titled the image: The Birth of ImaginationThe opposite of the feathered insects, these are thumbnails of bird creatures with insect features An old Imperial Guard sketch for a start up company done some years ago. I don't think anything really came of the company.

ACG- thanks for the compliments.
You're welcome btw, keep up the good work. The first workshop I did for ImagineFX Magazine: An Army Summoned. A bunch of random doodles on a sketchbook page Badial: Fire Imp for Warstorm Budding creatures: kind of abstract aquatic/plant things Bevus: Ice Imp for Warstorm Just a conceptual creature sketch Bobenlik: Death Imp for Warstorm A collage of sketches - creeps 01 Bithkin - Imp for Warstorm, I kind of turned him into a cave/earth imp since there wasn't a description. Another collage of sketches - creeps 02 What I ended up doing with the face masked creeps: This was my first fully painted digital Illustration. "Desolation" It was kind of just a reason to paint multiple figures, a creature and a sandy environment.

Daniol - Thanks man
Hurri - Hope you've been doing well man..you, Edite and the little tike too. Thanks, I want to try and post more sketches, doodles, digital wip's etc.. I've been too lazy to scan in new sketchbook pages. Auzubaal - Death Demon for Warstorm: All warstorm cards are seen QUITE SMALL on the website in play, so the size you see them at here is almost 10 times as big as they will actually be seen half the time. Some rough sketches of a living flexible tree concept. Similar to the one in Harry Potter (movies). I thought having the roots breech the surface of the soil and act as additional attacking tree "tentacle/branches-roots" would be interesting. This is an older sketchbook page but it might perhaps work for a personal project I've started recently. A creature concept simply dubbed (The Watchers) Kind of like insect/arachnids watching over a harvest of crops in some strange way. Rurik - Dark Champion (undead warrior) for Warstorm Just some creature head concepts - profile shots - beasts of war. A crazy ass creature - WARCRAZED - was just having fun. This was just based on a tiny thumbnail. Perhaps an idea for a toy.. Another underwater warrior sketch for IFX Magazine More sketches that were for some IFX work, and personal work. Gishagul - Ice Demon for Warstorm edited: for some reason the other day the inserted attachments only showed as links..anyway, fixed it.

Just more schtuff to share...
A long forgotten personal project. The outskirts of a small town. A house concept for a long forgotten personal project. A weekly topic: Something to do with a Home on the Move - creature design. Two things came to mind immediately. Miyazaki's tree spirits and Fragil Rock ![]() This was a really fun creature to design. It was for a weekly topic, which I think had something to do with Asymmetry. A bit of a Phallic design of a creature. I just did this based on a very small thumbnail as a time lapsed video process. An Ancient Sanctuary, heavily referenced from an actual Japanese Temple..just modified slightly. I wanted to give it an Eastern feel but with an other wordly atmosphere and flora. Rough character thumbnails: One is circled The circled character thumbnail brought to a final pencil rendering: The Detonator: some kind of small middle/end Boss A feathered/winged giant one eyed/brain insect critter I call the Pegadrum. Some rough character sketches Some rough character sketches

Boykinov - Thanks, I actually enjoy just doodling and sketching out ideas in pencil & or pen, over detailed rendered paintings.
Here is a decent amount of pigment liner pen work for a personal project I had started with a friend and then it kind of died down...but I liked where the direction was headed. Gravity, Atmosphere and an entire different ecosystem were to play a part in the reasons behind the construction and design of some of these creatures. Attachment 3934
