For #105: Really nice. Like it a lot. Great use of colours here in my opinion. And nice rendering. If I had anything negative to say it would just be that the proportions seem a little off in places i.e. the horn and the hands, and maybe the sword. Like the pose on the (character's ) left hand though.

For #108: Again, beautiful colours, and nice rendering. The armour looks great. Nice characterful (is that a word?) poses too. And for my mean thing to say: maybe too much in the way of hard edges against the background (flags and characters). Very atmospheric, I like this piece a lot.

Please feel free to tear me a new one at the link below.

I was going through some of my movie art books today and realized that I haven't done likenesses in fucking ages. So here's a quick one of a familiar Stark.

For a long time, each time I saw your Sketchbook thumbnail + your name, it automatically reminded me of Tolkien :P
Hahaha you've got some incredible talent, man, I love the medieval / fantasy theme you master so well!
The sci fi artwork at post #79 is impressive and quite refreshing too!

Amaakir: haha! Never heard that about my name but i suppose it's not a bad thing glad you liked my stuff! I have a feeling that you'll see alot more scifi stuff from me in the future

JoseVega: thanks mate! I appreciate your constant support

I've been on my summer vacation for a few weeks and I've tried to take a break from painting but ultimately I couldn't resist and made this quick sketch on my Ipad at my summer cottage. I used procreate ( easily the best painting app for the Ipad ) and a stylus. Painted from ref.

                Hi guys!

I'm back at work from my summer vacation and here's a quick 15 minute sketch I made during my lunch.

I always loved these great ships from the 18th and 19th centuries as a kid. I remember trying to draw them and failing miserably every single time. If I could pick the most terrifying thing to draw it would be one of the british first rate ships and a frigate as shown here isn't much easier! However, during my vacation I spent some time reading a book about 18th century naval warfare and that kindled my old love for the subject. So here is my first step into painting one of those beauties- let's see if I fare any better than some 15 years ago.

Absolutely. In terms of process I think I'll need to make a pretty detailed drawing of the ship first... look for that in here later I'll do some research tonight of how they would have had their sails in that kind of weather and I'll need to find a stack of reference images for the ship. I love the research part of doing these historical images.
