Hi everyone

So I'm jumping into this one pretty late. I've been working on this for a couple weeks now but considering my schedule I didn't want to post anything until I was sure I could complete the task. I'm still not sure, I feel I'm going to be cutting it pretty close but I figured I should post what I have. Here are some initial studies and sketches as well as some progress shots of the sculpture itself.

Hi there, i have done some sketches for my entry.

Im will do a sea creature, my favorite element, i have something in the head like a " Sea wolf". A pack creature what hunt in groups, leike raptures, lions.
Here are three ruff sketches, inspirations are coming from real animals. octopus, frogs muray, ectr, There is no border line and i have a lot reference material.
Im not realy happy with thet what i have now, is not realy kicking. will do tomorow some more.

@Didzis- love that design you have there its really shaping up. it looks like Johns bipedal creature maybe a cousin to his? looks great.

i'm going to try and squeeze a few more speeds out before your deadline. its crunch time over here but I will try.

thanks guys, no one was hurt. just hassles with insurance and not having a car etc, wasn't my fault so its all covered. Just annoying to have no car.

@Didzis good work, hope you get a chance to pose him, texturing is not required for the final, what you have now is good enough, but I would pose him and render out the required finals.

I just went through the whole blog to get a better understanding of this comp. I'm curious about the 3rd theme, moon. I didn't see any entries portraying that creature; is it like our moon, with no atmosphere?

I would imagine it has different gravity, atmosphere etc apparently in the next Avatar movie it will involve creatures from one of the moons.
