More stuff, and some stuff I forgot to post the day before yesterday xD
The gesture studies range from 25 seconds to 60 seconds. Wonder if one can tell which is which.

A 2 hours-ish study. Didn't really get the flow going in this one. Aw well, onwards to new stuff and..er...Go Brienne!

not bad but judging from your lines i think its a little early to go digital?! maybe go back to the pencil? or do you hate it?

Marc: Judging from my digital lines or my traditional lines? I personally think that my digital lines are utter crap, since i'm not used to drawing lines digitally, I usually just block out shapes. My traditional lines aren't that good either, but sure as hell better than my digital imo. Digital is kinda new to me, same with colors. So i guess I wanna explore. But I hear ya really. Should practice fundamentals more. I started with pencils so I shouldn't lose that medium!


Here's a wip och today's thingie. Went grayscale and felt that i wanted to take this a bit further so I kept rednering and trying out different angles and such. Color tomorrow, ah ye.

Oh, and any thoughts about the piece that could help me improve it (or things to consider for the next piece) is always welcome!

cool sb man! like the 3d piece you did on the last page! i would suggest working on your form but values and colors seem to be coming along. keep posting man!

Kevin: Ah, the fat merchant dude with the funny arm. Can't go wrong with those xD My form eh? Thought form was something you created with value, colors and perspective. I guess you mean more anatomy and propotion practice? In either case: yes. Yes I do ;P

Here's another WIP of the golem summoning piece. Thinking of changing the composition so that the wizard and golem closest to the viewer are places iin the center, might balance it up a bit. And that golems hands need fixing too.

haha i dont really like saying anatomy since i see arms and legs in the right place and unless you want to some how display all the individual strings of muscle it doesn't look like the main prob, i guess proportions describes it better? but i think you some how got what i meant :b anyways the last one is coming out pretty nice!

Yea Kevin, need moe of that. Doing gesture's right now but considering the time limit it seems like it mostly improves my overall flow, the drawing skill, and proportion to some degree I guess. When I get faster I guess I'll get more out of the proportion department.

An update on the Golem piece. Nearly done now I guess. Just want to polish it a bit more, see if I can xD I always feel that I wanna render these kind of pieces more, so might aswell practice on it.

Recently drawn stuff that was recently scanned. Some study sketches and..yea, other stuff. I kinda like the catchrist vs onionstein one, my friend asked me to draw that. I haven't seen the things he has and thus can't come up with such ideas.

Bunch o' gestures. Tried doing some with one pencil stroke. Guess It'll work better if i do quicker ones (these were 15 sec) Then I'll get less time to focus on details. Less bogged down.

Here's a wip of a character a friend asked me to draw. Pretty challenging stuff for me, never really drawn wings before so it'll be awesome to try. And some water and skin training as well.
