    Default WIP needs help

    Hi!

I think it's my first post here (first real post anyway)

I'm doing a set of illustrations for a project and I want 'em to be good and also to learn new things on the way. So I decided to dip into the great pool that is CGHUB

As I'm starting the work B&W, I hit the first wall tonally - I want the middle guy to be the main actor here, leave his face in the shadow yet have the features read for the viewer. Messing with the features in the shadow has left me with a mess instead of a face õ_õ

I welcome any tips or pointers anyone can offer.

    Cheers!

Here's the picture I'm working on right now:

Even though you want the middle guy to be the main character, but the man stand on the right picture cathed my eyes at the first glance.
Maybe the shadow is the problem.

Maybe you could add another light source to light up part of his face. It doesn't need to be a strong one, like a cigarrete in his mouth or something like that.

But untill now the image is looking great, I like the skecthiness in it.
