This is my first time posting on here, and I figured I'd get some help, suggestions, comments, and anything to help me make this better. I usually don't ask for help, but I'm deprived of other artists in my area.

I drew this last year as a fanart for Streets of Rage 2, my favorite of the series, and finally decided to work on painting it after someone suggested I hurry up and finish it. I currently have the characters on their own layer so as to help with moving them around as I've found my original layout wasn't turning out right.

My mind is stuck on what to do next, as I keep jumping from one part of the painting to another, without thinking. I'm very much new to working digitally, and this is my 3rd serious attempt at it.

I'm currently using Photoshop CS5 with an intuos 3.

Any feedback would be helpful.

Heh, well you definitely need to add a few more facial features

I'd just create a layer above what you've got and draw in all that kind of stuff roughly. Pant creases, eyes, mouths, all that but finish it all off. I doesn't have to be perfect.

Once you've done that you can work back in with tone and colour to resolve it.

It sounds like you just need to finish a stage (any stage) to get some momentum back.
