Thanks. I'm glad you guys are enjoying the character designs.

As for the figure drawings, everything I've learned over the past year, I owe to Carl Dobsky.

I've finished the figure drawing for the month of June.

So I'm reworking that space suit design I did a few months ago. There's a lot about it I'm not satisfied with now. I'm tweaking the pose to be a bit more dynamic. I want the volume and light to be more convincing. I will also be tweaking some of the clunkier design components.

Any feedback would be very welcome and appreciated.

                    Here's the original.

                    ...And here's the revision.

                      Thanks very much.

I'm putting it to bed. It's much easier to just redraw something than to try to fix things. Lesson learned. Again.

                          Hi there! Cool stuff!
As others have said, you did a great job on those lifedrawings!

I like the design of that Prospector's suit, and it's nice to see that you experimented with some colors in the revision, but be careful not to lose those nice, hard edges and value separations from the previous version!

I think that you might want to try and maintain that hardness, even with the new design, as it really gave the image a strong impact and made it easy to read!

Keep up the great work! I'm looking forward to seeing more from you!

Your last 3 character designs all turned out great, starting with the gimp ninja onward. The redesign of that older sketch turned out nice too! It's easy to see that you're improving steadily. Whatever you're doing is working so keep it up.

Thanks a lot. I'm glad to hear that you guys think things are looking better.

…And a version of that alien with fixed legs. I don't know. The gesture is less interesting now but the looking at the original version gave me a nagging feeling that the hips and ribcage didn't make sense spatially.
