Inspiring book sir. I can say I've learned a lot just watching you push yourself.

For the latest character design, and this is just my two cents..

The head design is great. I love the ripples and the weight of the fatty structure. But I think there may be a slight disconnect with the costume. I do really like the flow of the material, but perhaps giving it a bit more volume and fluff to counter the weight of the head itself- something along the lines of elizabethan or victorian dress, especially with shoulder pieces.

The other option is to add volume to other parts of the anatomy of the creature itself, but I like the idea you have of a slimmer body to contrast the head so a puffier costume would be great.

It's a horse I modeled some time ago, which I decided to rig and pose, and now I'm detailing it, still need to work more on the legs and body I think, and of course add hair. maybe I'll turn it into an unicorn.. and maybe model armor for it...I don't know yet...
