Remember Sierra? Old-school LucasArts? Well there's actually a sizeable community of gamers who still play this sort of game, and yes they're still getting made (mostly in Germany). One thing we've noticed, is that there is a severe lack of sci-fi / space themed point and click adventures. We hope to change that.

The game itself will be a little more serious than some of the other farcical space point and click adventures (i.e. Space Quest), but will still have its fair share of humour. There will be two intertwined stories, which see the protagonists travel to various worlds, experiencing varied and interesting environments, and interacting with alien civilisations. We like to think that this project will be a lot of fun for whoever ends up getting involved, and our goal is to give as much creative freedom as possible to whoever scores the various roles.

We're looking for artists primarily for background illustration, at present, but here is the full list of what we are after :
- Background illustration (2d or 3d - require a high level of finish)
- Concept art
- Character illustration
- 3d animation (for cutscenes)

Ideally, we would like to find a background artist who can work throughout the whole process, from concept to completion. We're specifically looking to create scenes with a high level of detail. We do not want a cartoony or overly painty look for the backgrounds. We'd like to achieve some semblance of realism, but also keep things looking vivid and bright, with a level of surrealism.

The attached images are annotated with some notes insofar as detail is concerned.

As for the feel and style we want (that is type of content, not painting style), check out some of these images - they capture colours, and styles, and emotional responses that we would like at least some of our backgrounds to evoke:
