    Default Gesture Drawing - Quickposes

    Hey guys,

I'm a big fan of gesture drawing. I practice it from time to time.

I developed this website so I could do gesture drawing more easily. It's online for anyone to use if they want.

This week will be it's first anniversary. To celebrate it I developed a special new feature.
    Check it out @ Quickposes.com

Tell me what you think, if you have feedback or ideas please share !

    Ciao !

I checked out your website and even did a challenge. Great job! It's easy to navigate, user friendly, clean and simple. The models are wonderful and have a very wide variety, from action to perspective. Although some were high contrast and low lighting, it also teaches one to draw negative shapes use surrounding features to get accurate figures. With that said, for someone completely new to figure drawing, it could be a bit overwhelming if they didn't know where to start. So (aside from the tips you have) I would suggest possibly putting in a tutorial section to give a break down of figure drawing ie: quickly draw frame, block in shapes, create flow and movement, etc.

One of my favorite figure drawing websites that I'm sure you've seen before is posemaniacs.com I'm sure with their CG figures, it's easier to get a wider variety of poses, but I bet there could be some useful ideas that you could include in your website.

All in all you did a great job and I'm looking forward to seeing where you take this.

Good little site. I'll be using this.

Already started using it actually, threw them up on my little art blog thingy.

I posted your website on the blog, but don't get to excited, no one follows it haha, its really just a place to throw up images and talk a bit about them so when friends want to see some new stuff I can send them there.

Thanks for putting together the site. Man it's been a long long time since I did any gesture drawings and I need to do some bad.

I've loved quickpose and similar online tools for the past year. Fabulous work with this one! I agree with the rest: very useful, clean, and fun!
