    last two studies are nice! maybe they could use a bit more contrast, nice updates tho!

      Thanks and I think the contrast is to low also. The reference I used on the gate painting was from an overcast day. Overcast days tend to have lots of defused light which brighten shadows and lower contrast of the whole image, but I think I pushed it too far.

          Some small face studies. The likeness isn't there yet. Hopefully I will get better at it.

          I think it might help if i would draw them bigger.

            Woa! Your basic shapes and lighting on them look sweet! You are alot further than me in those areas it seems. Im still not even into lighting just yet lol nice paintings as well. So far so good with this sketchbook. Keep up the good work and dont ever stop. Hard work=success!!!

              Thanks, yeah I think the hardest part about this stuff is not stopping because of frustration. We all want to be masters on the first attempt. So, the same to you never stop!

                  when you drawing pay more attention with construction, simple form. It will help you establish perspective and proportion
