Making something realistic is a long process and for that you need a solid foundation of anatomy...
I always say that making Creatures/Sci Aliens etc are a bit easy as you don't have to worry about the anatomy and proportions..
But if you still want to learn..
There is a book called Maya studio Projects-Photorealistic Characters by Todd Palamar(Sybex/Wiley Publication)...
It's amazing to follow the whole process but it's software specific(Maya)
If you want a Video tutorial, there are so many to look into from Digital Tutorials, Gnomon, Eat 3D etc..
    Just search..
And to study more About both (Anatomy and Realistic Character/Creature)..You can look into Visualarium Classes..

Thanks you Zen for the replay. Well, everyone told me to know anatomy, okay let's say that i know good anatomy, and make awesome character/creature in Zbrush, What about then? I mean for, Uv's Texturing, lighting, rigging. Okey, i am not really interest in rigging and animation, i am more for modeling and texturing, and to make ready character for animation.

I know that tutorial from Todd, but i am more into videos. DT, is more focused on cartoon characters, Gnomon are skipping parts, so it's useless for me.

I want to attend a master class form Zack Patrol, what do you know for this guy?

Have you heard about Rafael Grassetti's Workshop?

First time i heard for Visualarium Classes, what's for?

They expect you to have a certain degree of knowledge before you land up in making Realistic Portraits.(it's an assumption)
That is why they skip certain things in making the Tutorial short and manageable.
If you don't have your basics strong then the building you are curating on that ground will be shaky..

Zack Petroc is one of the Zbrush Veterans and is a legend.. who recently gave an interview to Pixologic
Rafael Grassetti is also an amazing artist.
Visualarium is an initiative started by none other than Ryan Kingslien who also started Zbrush Workshops..
Along with our own Pointpusher(Danny Williams/CGHub Moderator), Cesar Dacol Jr.(Recently gave UGM at Gnomon School), Ed Eyth
      David Krentz
and the Legendary Marshal Vandruffis teaching what they specializes in.. to all
And they are not only artists but are amazing teachers as well

Either Ryan's or Zack's class will serve you well. I would also suggest that you work from real references. Try to get a couple of people you you know or getting a brief membership to 3d.sk. Depending on where your skill level I would even consider trying to dig up some old edgeloop type modeling video tutorials/books simply to force your mind into building the necessary structural details (hard bony elements.) A lot of time the most common thing for people to do is over-sculpt and lose the structure/bony details which are the most critical things to have. If you have an iPad you may also want to check for the anatomy apps that are out. I believe David Giraud has one iOS anatomy reference app released already and there's atleast one more. IMAIOS makes a an anatomy app, but that's probably overkill for most artists. PocketAnatomy is another one.
