Wooo very cool shapes that you're using in your art, it's very refreshing! Though I will reiterate the proportion/perspective suggestion, it does make a difference. Have you looked into Horgarth's writings and drawings? I'm sure you can easily find e-books of his stuff online.

Otherwise, keep it up! I can't wait to see more!

Great sketches, too! Nice, clean forms! I also think that going out of focus and more loose around the focal points would make them even nicer! Keep it up!

Wooo you have some really crispy edges my friend! They are really nice and clean, and they hold up both in your sketches and your drawings alike. On top of that you have some funky fresh shape choices which you fill out with form to create some great images. Reading through the comments it seems like people have already addressed the proportions and figure stuff, and it's cool to the see the progression you have already made with the studies you are hitting up. It's also really cool to see your traditional approach on the digital format. Your strokes look very efficient Keep em coming man!

Just went through real quick and love love your pencil renderings and portrait work. I can see you get really passionate with real life people, feelings, and expression.

jeromo-no problem man and hey i had the same feeling too :b
stace-thanks, but uh not sure what you mean by shapes? thanks for commenting though!
            soleil-thanks!
failstarthanks man but once again not sure what you mean by shapes? thanks for checking my sb though!
            mrscribbles-thanks, much appreciated!

i did some characters, not really paying much attention to design or pose but really trying to keep proportions in mind. i think theyre at least more than 4 heads tall so that alone is an achievment :b
oh and btw, the rolled up pants on the first dood isnt random, when you ride a bike and have baggy pants they get caught in the gears so people around here roll em up on the side the gears are on not sure if its a fad or if other places do it too :b

and i want to get into enviros but i absolutely suck with it, the first is a study i used this one to experiment with brushes and try and get colors right, and second is imagination both round 15 min

Loving those mountains, the colors are great!

Shape refers to well - shapes! Not necessarily triangles and squares. More like the overall shape (or silhouette) a character or any subject makes, and also the smaller details - the planes on a form, clothing, weapons, etc. Good design comes from a good understanding of composition, and good composition comes from a good understanding of shapes.
I hope that clears it up, I can always draw you a picture if you'd like, haha. Or you can always PM me too. :3

Regardless, keep up your voodoo magic!

                        Nice enviro studies
I think it would help you out a lot if you were to do a few of them with reference . That way you'll be able to study those little details that make snowy mountains look like snowy mountains and use that knowledge to enhance the feeling of realism in your imagination paintings.
