Hey all! Maurice Sendak!? I'm in! I did some silhouettes to get some ideas flowing & ended up with some sad wolf.. which I decided to put in an argyle sweater and gave scaly biceps. o_o

I might change the pose to a howling thing, but I have to play around with the expression a bit more.

hanitroudi - I love the drawing and idea! I somewhat agree with HosseinRezapour that the creatures could be more wild? Maybe more teeth and sharpen the claws?

jwedding - I'm liking the tribute vibe! You could tell more of a story with this image, maybe giving the Wild Thing a focus on why it's sad? Like it knocked over the tree.

Heretic_Templar - You've definitely got the Sendak feel in your Wild Thing. Waving goodbye to Maurice/Max? You could also clarify the ground your Wild Thing is standing on? Sand, grass?

Jeremo - Nice! Definitely Wild! I wonder what's going on with the flower!

I only added a few shadows near the drops and I decided that the job is finished. I�m very happy with the result (my three sons and, this is really rare, my wife too!!

).
