SpawnAlex: Thanks man!! I'm sorry you weren't able to finish, your demon looks really good tho.

Yesterday I was not able to render a proper turn table of my sculpt so I'm posting this new links to
better movies of it, I hope you take this into consideration on the judging process as the movie I linked
on the finals thread was too small to see any detail.

Also make sure you click on setting 720dpi resolution option
so you see the video at the best possible res.

I also made this new front and back render of my sculpt I darkened the pupils of the girl a bit more
and unmasked the skulls from the back view which look way to dark on my final entry images
because I forgot to unmask the sub tool, if you can, please take this last new renders into consideration.
          Thanks for your time
          -Luis

Very solid. I luv it. It looks like it has a lot of weight to it.

hyrule: Thanks! I think I redid the demon and the girl like three or four times while trying to get closer with each iteration, I'm very glad it shows.

KC-Production: Thanks a lot for the complements! I spent lots of sleepless nights on this piece, and learned tons by doing so, I'm eagerly awaiting for the result of the judging

I have to admit I'm extremely disappointed by the outcome,
I just have to say this because frankly just saying I agree
with the decision of the judges would be a complete lie from my part,
while I think all of the contestants did the very best they could do,
if the contest was to get a close to the illustration I very humbly have
to say I got very VERY close to it, I don't know how objective I am
but i welcome any person that sees this comment to look at my entry
and let me know if I was or not close to the reference illustration given,
I also think I did a good job expression wise and anatomically wise.

Right now I just feel extremely disappointed that all the effort and sleepless
night I put into this, and all the time I spent getting the sculpture as close
as I could to the ref was wasted, if you would have wrote on the contest rules
that the second and third places would gotten em by straying form the concept
then I would made my own interpretation of the illustration not adhering my self
as closely as I could, and maybe I would have won second or third place, I
agree Nandlaskar sculpture was very close to the concept ill say as close as mine,
but as it right now I feel punished for spending time trying to adhere to the contest rules,
more so Nandlaskar already has a name in the industry while I'm just a new comer
and while he did deserves the first price he needs the exposure much less that my
self considering that after objectively seeing the source illustration his and my work
we both have the same level of detail I find this quite heart braking.

firstly, the whole concept is very amazing..kind of cult, scary, violent but also sexy. the most of all, unique!
secondly, the details are very exquisite, the whole work is so well-executed!

                        Great work!
