Creature #56 :: Where the Wild Things Are

Challenge Overview:
This past week marked the passing of the great and very influential children's book writer and illustrator, Maurice Sendak.

We thought it would be appropriate to dedicate this next challenge to his memory, and the stories most of us grew up with, most notably, one of his most famous works; "Where the Wild Things Are"

For this round, we will keep it fairly open. Please take a look at the book, do some research on Maurice's art style, and come up with a creature that pays tribute to Maurice and "Where the Wild Things Are"


Final Delivery:
We ask that you submit just one image to the finals thread that clearly shows your creature, preferably with a background. It would be cool if the image was in Maurice's art style, but not no firm restrictions, just bring out the kid in you and draw
