Hey guys, awesome works so far, here's a little feedback from me, I hope you guys find it useful:
@PTimm: I think you could be a little more bold with your light overall, I did a quick Paint Over (I hope you dont mind!): I used the Dodge tool on your image to increase the strenght on the background, right on the spot near the knight's face to bring a lot more attention around that area. Also, the background on the lower left felt a bit gray, so I added an overlay at 30% with a warm color gradient up to the knee to give it some more color and blend it to the background. I also used a soft light at 20% at various places with a light purple gradient to bring up some more colors. Did a second overlay with a warm light color (Kinda cream yellow) gradient on the top right corner to bring some more brightness to the image. Topped it all with a levels layer to adjust the values to my liking. Just some suggestions, your entry is very epic as it is@lys: I love the expression on your character, it's very fitting to the character description Choo gave us I think some more contrast could be used, however, if you place a color layer on top, and fill it with white, you'll notice how the values kinda mesh together around the face. Maybe adding some more lights into your character's face might help a bit Overall, I'm loving your entry! Keep it up!@Lowestofthekeys: Still some time left! You can make it! Great style and kudos to you for trying a new style! ![]() I think I might be able to squeeze my soul a bit more this week just in time to make a final entry on the challenge, it's been a while since I participated in one and this one's very funny, keep up the great work, guys! |
