Hi, first off my name is Timothy Ackerman I am 16 years of age and a Sophomore attending Rocklin High School I am new to this website I was referred to it by a Senior Concept Artist that works for Bungie. Some of you are probably wondering how I got in contact with a person that works for Bungie and why did I contact him in the first place well... I was assigned a project for my English 2 class the project is a Career Interview assignment and what i am suppose to do is find a job in my interest find someone who has my job of interest and interview them. Now originally i was going to do graphic design but then i found Darren Bacon through Bungie.net they had a short interview with him and s after reading that interview i found his on website emailed him and to my surprise he emailed me back. He is a great guy all the questions i asked he gave amazing answer and a lot of it i will be able to use in my speech for my project... and now the interesting part from doing all this research and finding so many interesting things i finally realized i want to become a concept artist but i am not sure on how to start. The things that i do know is that i do need a more up to date computer with up to date software i am working on getting a Intuos5 small touch pen pad and i am also getting Coral painter12 i do have descent art skills they are not amazing but impressive but it wont be enough for a concept artist job is there anybody out there willing to give me tips and advice on what to do and how to start the more info the better
