Hey there,
looks really good to me. Also the background fits. Not sure if its necessary to add a BG.
If you like - what about just the shape of a door / bed room. Nothing really defined - simple shapes that give a feeling of depth .
Hmm - or the shape of a wardrobe with an open door…
just my humble "ones"
Keep it up.
Cheers

Ah I'm torn now, I like your interior idea Malo - something intimate so they're secreted away. With the colours I've chosen I think there's going to be two light sources, moonlight/night and some kind of flame perhaps...

In the meantime, some Owl speedpaint, inspired by several references :3

Update to the earlier Medusa image - I refined the body of the snake and added some texture. Feedback welcomed.

Hey! Cool sketchbook here! Keep it up!
The medusa is looking nice as well, what i would do differently is - make the lights bit more dramatic, more light on her chest/face, less on the tail, and also maybe change the pose a bit so that the figure makes a nice s-curve?

Nice! Sounds like a great plan! Now I'm curious on your next take.
Owl and medusa looking pretty cool!
            keep it up

            the owl <3
About the medusa, its coming along pretty nicely! Perhaps make a smoother transition between the skin and scales, as if its slowly degrading? (just an idea)

            keep it up!

First off, sorry guys for not getting back to you for months!

Thank you for the feedback Soleil - that will definitely help the image pop more and give the eye an area to focus on.

              Cheers malo!

Yeah John Silva - the transition would provide the challenge of rendering of the materials of skin, and its difference from the scales too. I think I'd be best finding some snake and skin reference to get the subtle/obvious differences.

Resurrection post ENGAGE - I was involved in a small freelance games project involving some IP from the Dandy (scottish comic) and it inspired me to draw me own take on their superhero Bananaman, and his alter ago Eric.

Inspiration for the Eric setting from Wes Burt.

Here's what I'm currently working, I think due to lack of planning or clear idea that position of the arms/overall pose for the figures is stumping me with ambiguity.

Think I'll do some studies of similar figures to see if that alleviates the pressure.
