color update! It was going to be just a color study and when I realised I had almost done! It evolved much easier than I thought..

Thanks Kern! I'll try to paint a fried steak! ;D
How weird do you think it is? I can see I missed some wrinkles!

I realised that spending a lot with a monitor I should have bought another kind (LED/ICS) or a Imac.. My 24"Full HD samsung is too shiny and Idk why... But I'm luck to work with a Mac at my job so I can compare!

                quick update!
I still not happy with the colors.. maybe I´ll desaturate most of the armour, the idea was to show a steel armour with candle reflections, but atm it looks like a golden armour, it´s been hard to find a good reference :/

the knight dood is coming along, would suggest a stronger edge around the helmet, its sorta to close in color to the pillow and you lose that edge between the two. keep it up

Thanks Malo! This last update really boosted my inspiration. I was kinda stuck..

Thanks Conker! I took some pots and pans to the studio! lol

Thanks Kevin! I chose a soft edge because I think there´s very few light bouncing there. Cinthia Sheppards gave me a feedback to blend a little bit the color of the helmet and the pillow. I´m not saying you´re are wrong! I really aprecciate the feedack! what do you think??

I´m at the final sprint! After a long time with candles and pot at the studio, I´m happy with armour relections, but what holds me back is to convey the fabric wrinkles in a interesting way. I´m going to take some photos tomorrow, maybe I´ll add a lot of fold like layers of fabric instead of only one sheet.. So it´s your last chance to hammer it down until I give up and move ahead! lol

the last 20% really takes 80% of the time..

Hey man, great work on the knight! I think the chainmail needs more contrast, it kinda just meshes with the armor and doesn't quite feel that it's something completely apart from it.
I'll raise a beer in your name for quitting, man, it takes guts to go into the wild, but I've done it also and I know how you feel, I'm glad to know you already got a book in the making and I wish you the best of luck!
