Amaakir - My number one fan, it seems! I kid, it's always nice to read your comments. I haven't even dared to attempt mixing quick live drawings and color, I feel like it would only lead to disaster! But there are some artists in the session who do color and I'm utterly amazed by their efforts. I'll definitely sit down and practice, maybe I'll get the chance to try it out soon too.

mjasnowski - Hehe, thank you Mike! I hope my trolls always keep everyone on their toes.

MrBrown - Thank you, thank you! I hope you are able to critique the hell out of them, I'd love to hear your thoughts about my upcoming portfolio pieces (none in this post though! )

JoseVega - Thank you Jose! All the best my friend!

filiso - Thank you, you should try it! It really forces you to focus and think about what you're going to draw instead of redrawing something over and over and over again, hehe. Though you're already very awesome with your penstrokes, I imagine you would just kill it with short poses!

veela - Awe thank you so much!

Fetsch - Thank you, and I totally should! I'll have to get your input on how to make her perverted, muahahah.

malo - Thank you Malo, I will! I have some nifty ideas for the next few trolls, I hope everyone will still like them.

TheMentat - Hahah, yes, I'm finally back in business! I definitely will now, I just hope she doesn't get offended by it, hehe. Thanks for stopping by!

I will admit that I've fallen out of the swing of things, gah. I'm back in physical therapy as before my last session a month ago, I had some of the worst hand pains I've experienced all year. :/ My doctor thinks that I have a lot of nerve irration in not only my arm, but also up to my neck. I will admit the struggle to keeping a good posture while drawing can get me down sometimes, but it's really something I've been working on because if I don't work on it now and just keep taking long, lazy breaks, I'm going to keep having pains in my shoulders, arm and hand. I should have listened to my grandma while growing up, always telling me to stand and sit up straight, haha!

In the meantime, I'm going to start following a study schedule again. I always love browsing the sketchbooks here, it always makes me so inspired and always reminds me that I need to keep studying and drawing in order to get where I want to be! I promise I won't push myself over the edge, but I'm tired of seeing my sketchbook so empty, sigh! So expect the next few weeks to have some bad drawings, hah.

Like today! I was struggling so much with life drawing today, despite the fact that I've drawn this girl several times before, haha.

      A study in the works...

How does I draw demons and monsters? My latest exploration...

My latest troll, another gift for a friend's birthday. I love the colors but I wish I would have done a different pose. You can't really see much of the body, sigh.
I only have a couple more gift trolls to make and then I'm going to start making them for myself again. I have lots of ideas on how to make them actual illustrations. Stay tuned... :P

As always, and forever, thank you for viewing and reading. Thank you for any feedback and comments ahead, they never cease to cheer me up and always make me want to work harder. Onwards and upwards, my friends !

Girl, you betcha I'm your number one fan, and I'm ready to defend that spot with sword and cape! hahaha but seriously, great studies, those monsters are sweeeet and the troll is awesome, I love to see different ideas and concepts when it comes to creatures as populars as trolls, goblins, orcs, u know, the works :P
I've got this reeeeaaaally old book that illustrates the type of goblins according to traditional mythology from a lot of sites...I can't recall its title here at the office, but I'll look into it and share it with you, I think you'll find it fun

kevin- - Thank you! I shall!

JTAArt - Awe thanks, I still quite like it despite it looking pretty bad.

MrBrown - Awe thank you dude! Don't hold back!

Fetsch - Why thank you sir! :3 I hope you're doing well, and I finally got an idea for the Theo troll...ehhehe...

mjasnowski - Thank you, I will!

Amaakir - Ooh yeah, I have a collection of monster books that I love to peek into. A friend once suggested I do my own, which would be an interesting challenge. I'd love to see whatever you have, can never get enough monsters, haha.

JoseVega - Waaah thank you! That means a lot to me Jose.

mattgamer - You better Matt! :P Thanks for stopping by.

My hand pains are getting fewer and fewer. My therapist has been working a lot in my shoulders and boy, does that really make a difference! I'm happy to say I finally broke my record of drawing 4-5 hours straight and was able to accomplish a full day of 8-9 hours. I just have to take a break, walk around, stretch and then get back into it. I'm so incredibly happy, I cannot even begin to describe how I feel about this.

I had a fun week of focusing on the lovely Anatomicae challenge that Amaakir choose. Unfortunately tonight as I was trying to finish, my hand pains came back and I had to stop. But this challenge and piece has been all that I think about lately and I'm going to finish it up on the weekend. It's been fun and challenging, I learned a lot and plan on to keep learning. :3

Also drew some trolls for my mom. As much as I love doing the trolls, I need a little break with them for a bit.

I hope everyone is doing well! Thanks for reading and come back soon!
