                  I am going to start some new stuff soon. The shape thing was really me trying to concrete some fundamentals down, like perspective.

                    Nice line work with the sketched shapes and good value in the painted ones! I find perspective so annoying but definitely good to get it down early on. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff!

                      Thanks Mogzirra, I found that working in perspective helped my free hand sketching too. It really shows you how things look in a 3d space.

                      It also helps in making cast shadows, highlights, and form shadows.

                              Yeah it does, but its still pretty far off from the ref.

                              Here is another study I did today.


                              I am really trying to understand how to do simplify or imply detail. So, I might start studying the master as some do.
