My tank wip!
Played around in zbrush to create numerous thumbnail silhouette designs...after spending few hours, decided to go with this!

Quick update, so far working on the model sheet, more views of the character to come.
it's definitely a challenge to maintain consistency

Hi guys. Here's my concept of a ice mage. Might play around with the colors and paintwork a bit as I'm not to happy with it.

A quick value study for my final dynamic pose. Moving into colour next. Intend to pull everything together for the design sheet last of all.

Am new here but I think I may participate in this seems like a great activity for the community and for artists to improve. Some great sketches etc in the above posts

, there's some great entries so far. Figure I'll join the fun. I decided to do my take on the goat character so here are a few quick sketches I've been playing with. I'm leaning towards the bottom 2. I might also explore some other style explorations. Feel free to voice your opinion on which one you like the best

I agree the bottom two are good. I personally like 3.

Lots of character in all these sketches if you ask me. But I'll say number 3 comes out on top. Having said that with a little tweaking number 2 could be great, I think I like the facial expression here the best and with a little more definition the pose could really work.

@EricYan: for me number 4 is the coolest - great expression and character (nose, chin and eyebrow mainly) and horn shape!

My ICE MAGE! detailed the jacket abit, still deciding if he will be barefooted or not. gonna work on the face more now
