With its robust modeling tools, Modo is becoming many concept artists' tool of choice when designing hard surface objects.

Vaughan Ling, the vehicle design/modeler for the upcoming "Tron: Uprising" will teach this introductory class on how to use Modo as a powerful aid in vehicle design.

Currently there are only a few spots available for the class, so sign up soon before it gets fill up

This Saturday, Christian Alzmann will be demoing his design work flow for creating digital characters and creatures in life action films. A mix of techniques such as traditional thumbnail sketching, 3D modeling with Sculptris, Lighting in Modo, and finishing off the painting in Photoshop will be demonstrated in the workshop.

This is a great event for any character and creature designers who want to get into film character design. Or for anyone that is a huge fan of ILM and how they create their digital magic.

In case you would be interested, here are some basic info for our upcoming Summer term:

Semester Starts - June 2nd
Semester Ends - April 15th
Holidays - July 4th (independence day), July 14 & 15 (comic con weekend)

Enrollment start date - TBA (near the beginning of May)
