Default Bamboo 3 pen and touch?

    hi
thinking of buying my first tablet and thinking about Bamboo 3 pen and touch.

my needs are only textures for 3D, cleaning abit as post and rough sketches, not planning on painting Mona anytime soon.

my question, is that model worth it?
should I save another month and go for a diffrent model and if so, which?

    any help would be appriciated.

Bamboo 3rd generation is a newly released product and Wacom will not be upgrading it's Bamboo range anytime soon, So don't wait!
I have a Bamboo Fun 2nd Generation CTH-661 which is having the same Specifications as the current 3rd Generation Bamboo but with a more elegant Silver exterior. I do all kind of work with my bamboo and love it.
I also have an Intuos but my Bamboo holds a very special place in my bag-pack as it's light..

Conclusion-It's worth every single penny you spend on it except the postal and freight charges

keep in mind I never had any formal training and I'm usually not a 2d man.

but picked it up and drew this for funzies.
      hope you like it

(I really don't have much idea what I'm doing so far so don't be harsh on me)

It's always good to know about things...
From sketching, Modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, rendering etc..If you have some loose ends then try to join them and tie them up so that you can grow as an artist..
My advise to you would be, Just start a sketchbook and draw and get some necessary feedback from others..
      P.S enjoy your wacom now
