Actually i dont mind at all if you go all the way 3D. As a "customer" i dont mind or care the means you get to do the final image as long as it is appealing and goes with the subject matter of the project

Would love to see a variety of mediums but its all up to you all.... i just leave it open

@ScalC: Damn, that's a great entry for the challenge :O The shapes and lines have their own personality and the face that can be made out from the throne is awesome! Great work!

Here's my first take on the challenge...I'm reaaaaaaaaaaaaally bad doing environments and interiors, this is a huge leap out of my comfort zone so any C&C is very welcome

It still needs a lot of detail, but I think I kinda blocked out the essentials. My entry for the challenge will have strong influence from Clive Barker's horror stories, so there'll probably be a lot of chains and torn muscle

I'll detail my whole concept as soon as I manage to add in some more details

hey, Jose, not sure what you mean by not doing an interior throne, can I place it inside the ruins of a castle and show some post apocalyptic environment behind, for example? Or do you mean that I have to focus a lot more on the throne?

@cursed - hey buddy... cool start i like the atmosphere... maybe a bit more of color? keep it up!!!
@nick - hey man cool thumbs... for some reason even thou is far away... the first one on the second row is my favorite.... cant wait for final!!!..... the final images are coming along nice.... i like the long strips coming from the skull.... i dont know if i like the tittle on the bottom.... maybe add some texture to the fabrics and the stones to make different types of textures inside the image!
@ama - hey man... well i mean like a throne place outside... like u said... for example... the frozen throne of arthas in WOW...

Ok, here's WIP no.2 on my illustration, I've been going a bit random when it comes to rendering, just feel like being a little bit more spontaneous and haven't really touched the throne :P
Not sure if I'll have it ready for the deadline...but still, turning the castle walls into ruins was quite a challenge, lots of cleaning up and stuff like that.
Any C&C's are welcome! Next WIP will have some colors splattered here and there!

HEY GUYS! Been thinking about extending the deadline for another week to give some extra time to sharpen things up and for those who have not started take some time to begin.
