    Default Ice Mage

Good Stuff from everyone and apparently good fun. Here a bit of a WIP of an Ice Mage...figuring out what the mood of the character is going to be and the unstatic pose at the moment.

          Default Semi-aquatic Tank WIPs

FYI, first drawing jam here so don't hesitate to let me know if I commit some faux-pas not contained in the faq.

Like the amphibious tank idea. I quickly discovered I didn't really like the idea of wheels on a steamlined vehicle:

I was imagining something like a hydroplane. But the pontoons meant that I needed to break out of a side view earlier than i would have preferred:

Working with the turret in break-away while I'm figuring out the shapes:

Problem with working in break-away is I wasn't able to get a read of the whole silhouette. I scooted things around but everything got very busy when combined together.

Needs some re-streamlining to get back closer to the silhouette. When I scooted things around all the shapes started to even-out proportion wise. So now the pontoons are the same size as the hover pads in the back. And the engine is gigantic compared to my original thought lol.

Trying to streamline things back down.

I got a little too into my reference (M1A1 abrams tank) on the top turret so things got very polygonal and faceted...which isn't really how aquatic stuff looks.

Trying to get that aerodynamic "hull" shape back into everything.

                    @Kovah
Is this kind of layout fine or should everything be lined up in a single file?
Oh and just to doublecheck, is the deadline on Monday the 14th or Monday the 7th?

                      Default Ice Mage color mood

Here the mood of the character in a "non static" pose. Hope to manage to submit the design sheet on time...

@Amaakir...Dude amazing start and funny as well..It's your biggest asset and do exploit it

@WildImagination...It's a design sheet, so keep that in mind that you need a "T" pose for your character and can use this piece as a beauty shot.

@Mayanew...Dude you are really working hard and are a real inspiration..I have noticed you in all the challenges and you do have this "Never back down" spirit in
                      you. Keep improving..

@DaveNeale...Looks like a penguin in disguise of an ice Mage..Looks damn interesting as i never thought of it before

@Chiemi...I think you are going off topic as this is a design sheet challenge and this thing is not in topic.
Maybe you are talking about this(http://cghub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10060)..But it's a 3d challenge

@Greeneyed-Gal...Looking nice and loved the Sketches..Will be looking forward to see this one evolve..

@boristhescot...Hmmm..to be frank i find this as a guy on a hike..so need some refinement as this is a character sheet in which you need to transfer your designing thoughts to others , so that all the artists in a pipeline can vision and follow..

@Kanewinchester...I find him to resemble more like a Rat...Need to refine his face a bit..Add some more traits of a Goat..

@Keepitloki...Nice thumbnails and thought process...Loved the way you worked on these..

@Canaan...Loved the face...Got an evil, Bad*** look to it..Keep posting

@drednortz...Loved the ideation process..But do keep it in mind to make it Semi-Aquatic as well..

@Marvel77788....i except nothing less than Avengers in this piece..(Just Kidding) ..Nice pose and overall structure..

@MrBrown...Dude amazing as always...You just Nailed it..A perfect example of a Design Sheet..

@Swadeart...The best Work process in the challenge so far... Other artist's can learn from the whole process too..And Keep it Up..

@C4IIum...Eskimo in disguise...Looking cute and different

@mariofernandes...Nice Thumbnail sketches...Loved the #5 one, it got the Anger and pose that suites the characteristics of the Ice Mage..

@Dashofcinnamon...If i may suggest, do some thumbnail silhouette drawing to just have an idea of the shape and size of the Tank and then proceed further in developing the drawing..
And the deadline is indeed 14th May and to utilize the space you can use this kind of layout..But should have the required things..
                      Just check this http://cghub.com/forum/showpost.php?...57&postcount=2

@Primal_morph..Niceeeee...I can see some EPIC qualities in this piece..Awesomeee

And i am in...Will post a Wip soon
