How bout a challenge where participants make characters out of each other, basing the character on their general portfolio, username and such as an artist, super hero, monster, hero, villain, etc...
It'd be like a challenge where you make a painting out of a word, but instead your making a character out of the other participant's username.

So, I'm new here in character forge but here goes my suggestion(s) for future challenges

    1. Exorcist (any exorcist from any culture like the omyouji from Japan)
    2. Any folklore monsters/heroes/gods/demigods/etc from any culture
    3. Shintoism youkais (Japanese monsters)
    4. Space martial art master (can be alien)
    5. Futuristic redesign of (select a character)
    6. Mix comic heroes into one character (batman + superman = ?, etc)

I'll be posting some more suggestions when I have some fresh new ideas

I had an idea for a 5 part topic...

I was thinking we should have a CharacterForge series that involves building a super villain team.

          Topics would go as follows:

          1. The Leader:

The head of the villainous organization, a combination of brains, strength, speed, cunning, but never exceeding in any of those aspects.

          2. The Shadow:

The recon unit of the team. Sly, lithe and stealthy. Typically enjoys striking from a close quarters or a hidden location.

          3. The Brains:

The intellectual flavor of the group. He is knowledgeable in weaponry and technology, though is more concerned with himself in fights, tending to hide behind the rest and strike from a distance.

          4. The Brute:

The strength of the group. He is massive, a wild card who throws himself into the fight with reckless abandon.

          5. The Femme Fatale:

The second in command, who occasionally takes over when the leader falls short or becomes incapacitated. She enjoys close combat fighting, using her wits and cunning to overwhelm her foes.

I really enjoyed the 'she how does not speak' character forge because it had a really detailed description but it allowed a lot of creativity and problem solving.

I would like to do another challenge of a character completely made up and well thought out like a real brief. Rather that a redesign of a popular character so everyone can come up with really different interpretations of how the character might look.

                Sorry for rambling :P

2.take a household item, and base a creature design off it

To throw some ideas out there:

An ill equipped or disabled (Zombie/Disaster) Survivor. Someone with a handicap that's still making it despite the odds.

An anthropomorphism of an everyday object given a different time-frame or style. Cyberpunk Coffee Mugs anyone?

A What-If involving animals. Different environments, alien conditions. Something.

An Aesthetic switch from something cute to something grotesque or vice versa.

just an idea, that would be nice to have a video game cross over, for exemple with assasins 's creed and prototype, or battlefiel and Masseffect , etc

                          Question Dark Elf Challenge

An interesting race feature to most fantasy fictions has been the variation of the dark elf. Where you have your regular old Joe elf, most fantasy epics are adding in the "Dark Elf Counterpart". Some are evil as in D&D "Drow" versus the forest elf. In Warcraft the "Night Elves" are actually nicer than the High Elves. I'm reading the Malazan Books of the Fallen, and they have 3 sets of "Elves" or "Tiste" that represent personality and magic aspects are are just so darn interesting: Dark, Grey, and Light.

The Dark Elf interpretation Challenge anyone?
