I'm 18 right now and I'm really interested in digital arts, game design, and basically whole term called art. I'm not a beginner in drawing, It used to be my hobby for long years. Now I need to choose my callege. I would love to work as a game or movie designer. Can you recommend good schools which would prepare me to these jobs?
I'm from Poland, but of course I can move to any other country to study.

Hey there mate, there's plenty of threads on this forum already just search for it. But of cource i could reccommend some places, as i did alot of reasearch looking for something like yourself in the past.

And in my opinion you shouldn't really choose an art college outside our country, it's hell lot of expensive and you will have to learn alot of stuff that won't be that useful as the industry experience. What i would suggest instead is to gather enough money to study at some sort of an art atelier + take some onlince cocnept design classes.

Or you could check out concept design academy ( K chen's thread on this forums ).
Keep in mind thet you will need a tourist visa to be in the US, and it allows to stay up for 6 months. After that it is best to wait about half a year before trying to apply for another visa.

Hi I just have same problem except I'm 19 and about to graduate from high school. I'm form Slovakia so it is almost the same. My make-do plan is to go to language school to learn better english and get TOEFL certificate, meanwhile I will be self teaching and looking for some job in my country. I hope that with better english and portfolio I will have better chances. Altough it would be better to find some college we are both looking for. I tried to get on several colleges in Slovakia and Czech Republic but I have met negative responses because of my "too commercial way of art" (that is what university lectors kept saying about my portfolio), so my chances of getting onto college are even smaller than yours.
