Raise the contrast on Sub Zero, and damn you gona reworks his hands ! For your logo you must keep it simple to make it work, try to reduce it. You can not make it an illustration, as it must be a logo, and you can't confront two ideas in it, which will enter in a direct conflict. If you just keep the baseline and Jose Vega with the two lines, and get rid of sorry to say that this horrible light, childish, it will work in a simpler way. Hey Jose your not an electrician do you ? you know you don't havr to define yourself necessarly in a graphic symbol, sometimes just a font to write your name is enough. I dare say that cause I've been there before, hehe. Indeed keep the good work !

PS your acrylic is stylish !

Go, Jose, Go! It's looking really interesting, can't wait to see you push it further! I'm curious about the colors, are they gonna be sepia and warm? I don't know a thing about traditional painting so I don't know what you're planning, so gimme an update, NAO! hahaha great job, man, you should share a thought about your experience with traditional painting, specially this artwork since you've allready done a digital version of it. It would be interesting to know your points of view

That painting is great. i Love the character design. He makes me want to know more about his origin/world/culture. Hes pretty fresh too, next to all the popular European-medieval-themed fantasy we see these days. I really like it, Are we gonna see get to see more?!?!?

Hey Jose, haven't heard from you in a while, I hope you've been well.

I'm excited to see you dabble in acrylics again! I think it's helpful that you've already explored your subject digitally, so painting it traditionally really should help you know what to focus on since you've already painted it! I already like the acrylics one already, your edges are nice and strong. Try to paint without having the other image present, it'll be interesting to see what you remember and what you come up with!

I love the colors in your Subzero piece, it really captures the mood so well. I suggest doing some hand studies, either your own, a friend's, off the internet, any hand you see you must draw. Really learn the anatomy of it, I think it'll strengthen not only this artwork but the artworks to come as hands are such an important indicator of body language. Also, start off with a big brush and then over the course of the painting, start to make it smaller. My eye can only focus on his face or sword since it's so clean and striking, where as the rest of the picture has a lot of texture and noise conflicting with the edges. Don't be afraid to push the contrast.

Ahh, sorry, I didn't mean for this to get too long, especially since we don't talk as often. But I really hope you find this more helpful than destructive!
